The headphones work well, but the noise cancellation is ok. It does block out some of the outside noise but it could do better. Other than that, I like these earbuds. These are really good earbuds for the price, the material makes it less prone to tangle and the noise cancelation is pretty good. Additionally, you can pause and play songs and videos and raise and lower the volume with the 3 buttons on the mic. The only thing I don't like is that you can't skip songs and videos with the mic buttons. All criticism asides, these are great earbuds and less than 20 bucks! Wow.I needed a cheap ear bud set for one specific task- to fit under a set of over-the-ear hearing protectors (ear muffs) so I can listen to podcasts while mowing my lawn for two hours. My usual excellent Grado headphones are an open design and I don't want the audio program to compete with the noise of the mower. And that's not good for the ears, either.Since I don't need audiophile performance for these occasional yard excursions, I chose something in the ubiquitous "cheap" category. And these certainly fir the bill. For those customers seeking good audio performance, and claiming to love music, search elsewhere- and please open your wallet FFS. The reviews that talk about how great these sound are just plain wrong, if not hopelessly delusional. These $8 wonders are no replacement for quality audio transducers. And they shouldn't be. But they do have a place if the utmost audio quality is not a foremost consideration.Four stars for their performance/cost ratio. It doesn't get much cheaper than this, lol. It's okay, but there is definitely some noise cancellation. I can still hear my cousins crying downstairs but I still use it since I don't want to buy another one. I'd say it's pretty great when you're on a budget. The buttons work fine, the mute button doesn't work though, but it usually never does on any headsets or headphones. I didn't plan on using a mute button anyway. Great sound quality and volume control. I use it everywhere. Not too shabby for a relatively cheap set of buds.Has a premium look, though the build quality isn't quite up to the fancy pods. The wire is slightly more firm / less flexible than the set that came with my phone. This is probably the only disappointment I experienced.Sound quality isn't the best, but it's also far from the worst. For this price point, it's not a bad buy.I needed a replacement for high quality earbuds that cost about 25$ but that broke in 1 ear, after a few years, due to me dropping them and other problems. I was looking through all the gimmicks and looking for a good product. I think this one is the best in terms of full spectrum of sound, it does have a bit of bass, it's not like a 100$+ dollar sound product, but it will give every sound clearly and distinctly. For some reason though it takes at least 2 weeks for just one set to arrive, or more, not sure where these are produced.. for that reason I was considering other brand but I am actually happy with these. Cheap/plasticy material but imo the sound quality is good and it's better to save $ on that then have some gimmicky useless metallic version, the plastic coating does the job.I bought these as a throw away back up replacement set of earbuds for my phone when I lost the earbuds it came with not really thinking much of it. Then one day when I didnt feel like wearing my big fullsized headphones, I plugged these into my PC to game with and...wow. I don't know how they manage to do it, but these actually have some of the best sound I've ever used for gaming. Specifically FPS gaming, CSGO and Valorant to be exact. I suffer from some pretty bad hearing loss so just never thought I'd be one of those guys hearing someone have a thought across the other side of the map, and often struggled to hear people running up behind me even with $200+ audiophile grade headphones. But these, these are magic. I can actually hear people walking around me, reloading, I can tell which way gunfire is coming from. Even with 4 or 5 different pairs of "Gaming Headsets" hanging around my desk, I find myself always coming back to these when I actually want to "try hard" because I know they will work, and work very well, for me. If you want to get into IEMs (which is stretching it for these no-name brand buds) for gaming, I couldn't give any higher of a recommendation for these little things. Trust me, try them, you might be surprised, too.Good
